The Wings of an Angel

And I watched as the wings were spread
Poised in grace and dignity
And with your love i was fed
And i slipped into snow whit purity.
And i heard the trumpets around me
As i stepped into my place
Sorrow i would no longer see
For i was blessed by His grace.
And there was a time
With trials and tribulations many
Backwards was this life of mine
Love and grace i did not find any.
Then i came to a state of mind,
Where i came to realize
He was the bright sun that shined
Shined brightly in the clear blue skies
And i opened up my heart,
To be let back into His Kingdom.
And i felt my sould had took part,
i had found Heaven, i had found my freedom.
